Waiting for Daddy

A picture of Luca, Paul’s son, waiting for Paul and Danny to arrive at the finishing line of the Marathon, with his Children of Watamu tee shirt. At the time of writing, we are within 200 pounds of our target of 3000 pounds, and since we last spoke, we have had some great donations. William our Belgian colleague, gave us a euro per kilometer, and since both Danny and Paul finished, had to pay the maximum, which he did with pleasure. My daughter Caroline won 10 euros in a Grand National sweepstake and added it to her earlier contribution, my client and friend Annemie Vanhee from Belgium emailed her pledge today. My pals from Terry & Mary from East Kilbride sent a contribution to the Just Giving website, and The Pantry, the excellent tearoom in Fanabe Plaza, gave us 25 euros. Our builder, Carl Hughes chipped in a very welcome 50 euros, and colleague Stef put in 15. Helen & Richard who went on holiday with us sent money to Just Giving, and last but not least, my mate Donnie and his wife Mary send 20 quid to celebrate Ross County’s win on Saturday! Guys, we need 194 pounds as I write this, to make 3000 pounds. Everyone who contributes gets a quality commemorative tee shirt (which cost 5.50 each paid for by us) just like Luca’s with your name added to the Roll of Honour on the back (see the bottom of Luca’s tee shirt).
