What a beautiful weekend, not just in the South but throughout the island. Went to Puerto de la Cruz yesterday, where the temperatures are often 15 or 16 degrees in Winter, but yesterday, 23 /24 degrees up there, but nothing compared to 29 degrees recorded on my car thermometer as we passed the South airport.
On the football front, not so good, Clear Blue Tenerife Sur B got beat 4-0 at Las Zocas on
Friday, and the A team lost 2-0 at Fanabe on Saturday. CD Tenerife fared a little better with a draw away from home, but are still in the relegation places in the Spanish 1st division.
Went to a restaurant called Wellers in Sunset Bay (opposite the Sun Inn), had some “Strathclyde Steak Pie”, absolutely delicious. Just shows it does not need to be a big fancy restaurant to produce good food.
Business is still lively in the Tenerife Property market, Clear Blue Skies Group have now sold 5 out of 6 apartments in Green Golf Resort in Las Americas, given to us to sell by a major wine producer, and now we are starting to sell their properties in Oasis Golf Resort, also in Las Americas Golf. at 126,500, they are a bargain.
